Can Policy Save Us?
11.30am - 3pm
In September we’re back to School with a new course in a new classroom!🎺🎺🎒🎒
Maybe like us, after many years of hearing promises, climate emergency declarations and all the rest, you feel disillusioned about the power of government and policy to take any meaningful action on the climate crisis. Things feel so painfully slow. :///
Can policy save us? Can policy still do anything at all? And if it does, then how can we influence it?
Over 4 sessions we’ll be exploring the dilemmas and trade-offs of climate policy making, through big themes:
⚡Energy⚡ – 🍎Food🍎 – 🤖Technology🤖 – ⛰️Nature⛰️
Each session will combine lectures from experts with simulation games, where you’ll be stepping into the shoes of the people making the decisions. Could you do better than them? How?
