The questions that are raised are based on Nancy’s, Merleau Ponty’s and Abram’s (2017) definition of how the ‘sense’ is used: How live music contributes to a ‘sense understanding’ of ‘film’.

Their practice forms an equilateral triangle of insight – two musicians playing two instruments from two different cultural backgrounds; an Indian Tabla and a Tenor Saxophone. They explore their sound with each other, supported by captured moving image.

3 Wise Men @3wisemen3
Musically sublime and very silly, 3 Wise Men perform original songs on topics from the bizarre to the mundane.

The Prince of Battenberg has worn the colours pink + yellow exclusively for the past 6 years. What began as an absurdist game in Covid Lockdown has lead to a performance art project that has resulted in multiple high energy music releases and daring fashion designs. Expect songs covering masculinity, the gentrification of the Prince’s hometown of Tottenham and what it means to be a colourful Prince in a beige world.

Sam Aldersley
Filmmaker working in 35mm and 16mm, for 20+ years. Drawn to a handmade style and the organic craft that can’t be replicated — favourite part is the problem-solving that gets you there. Massively inspired by music videos from the ’90s through the ’00s. Style sits in dark comedy mixed with surrealism; psychedelics keep showing up as a subject worth exploring.

Jonathan Hearn
Jonathan Hearn is a writer and stand-up comedian. Carefully constructed jokes, old-school meets weird school.
