Folk in the Jar
7 pm
The Wolfe Sisters, James Riley, Yana Vlaeva, Woodpig join us for our friendly local music night.
James Riley:
James Riley is a songwriter and performer whose music sits at the intersection of folk, soul,
and acoustic pop — rooted in live, tactile instrumentation and led by lyrics that favour story, subtlety and poetic flair. His guitar style is percussive and rhythmic, often acting as both melody and pulse, while his voice moves between quiet intimacy and raw declaration.

Woodpig:
Evoking a deep sense of change, loss, resilience and personal journey, they channel the rustic charm of traditional folk with a contemporary twist. Embodying a unique fusion of acoustic warmth and atmospheric electronics, Woodpig craft narratives that resonate in both intimate and expansive sonic landscapes.

The Wolfe Sisters:
The Wolfe Sisters originally formed in 1824, during the great migration east across America. Over the years, a few of the members have changed, but the songs are still resolutely about loss, longing and leaving. On Wednesday 22nd April, they will perform with guitar, violin, and cello.
